TAFI Gujarat Travel Agents Explore South Africa on 12-Day Educational Trip

The TAFI Gujarat Chapter completed an 11-night, 12-day educational familiarisation trip to South Africa in July 2026, organised with Travel Senses South Africa. A 30-member delegation explored Johannesburg, Sun City, Eastern Cape, the Garden Route and Cape Town, gaining first-hand knowledge of wildlife, hospitality, adventure, transport and tourism products.

The programme also included an interaction with the Consulate of India in Cape Town, focusing on tourism, business opportunities and stronger India–South Africa ties. Members experienced South Africa beyond its traditional safari image, including luxury, nature, family, MICE and adventure tourism. The trip also helped agents understand facilities for Indian travellers, including vegetarian food, group handling and customised itineraries.
