Mélange 2026 Enters Final Month with 400+ Travel Brands Confirmed for Mumbai Showcase

The third edition of Mélange 2026 is entering its final month of preparations, with more than 400 travel brands already confirmed for the two-day travel trade event scheduled for September 26–27 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
Organised by MTF Events, Mélange 2026 is expected to bring together travel brands, exhibitors and buyers from across India and overseas. The growing participation has strengthened the organisers’ aim of developing Mélange as a national travel trade platform focused on meaningful business interactions. According to MTF Events, the focus for the 2026 edition is not simply on increasing participation numbers but on improving the overall quality of business meetings. The organisers said their approach is centred on bringing the right exhibitors and buyers together and giving them sufficient time to discuss products, explore new opportunities and build long-term business relationships.
Focus on Meaningful Business Meetings
As the event approaches, MTF Events is encouraging buyers to spend more time at the exhibition rather than treating it as a brief visit. The organisers believe meaningful business conversations require time and that buyers can benefit from exploring new products, meeting potential partners and strengthening existing industry relationships.
The organisers also highlighted that changing markets and evolving business opportunities make relationship-building increasingly important for the travel trade. The objective is to ensure that the time and investment made by exhibitors and buyers translates into useful business opportunities. MTF Events said its approach for the 2026 edition is also guided by its previous edition, with the organisation looking at ways to make Mélange more effective and create better opportunities for participants.
Mélange Awards to Mark World Tourism Day
The business programme will extend beyond the exhibition floor with the Mélange Awards scheduled for September 27, which coincides with World Tourism Day.
The awards will recognise achievements within the travel fraternity through eight Popular Awards and five Jury Awards. The Popular Awards will allow members of the travel industry to participate in recognising their peers, while the Jury Awards will be evaluated by an eminent jury comprising respected personalities from different segments of the travel and tourism industry. The awards evening will also include entertainment, networking and celebrations, bringing members of the travel fraternity together on World Tourism Day.
MTF Events has acknowledged the jury members for contributing their time, experience and perspectives to the awards process, with the aim of creating recognition that is credible and based on industry merit.
New Initiatives Planned for 2026
Innovation will remain another area of focus at Mélange 2026. MTF Events said several new ideas, initiatives and experiences are being developed for this year’s edition.
While some of these initiatives will be announced ahead of the event, the organisers have indicated that some experiences will only be revealed during Mélange itself.
With participation continuing to grow, MTF Events is also maintaining limits across different participation categories. The organisers said this is intended to preserve the quality of the overall event experience rather than focus solely on increasing numbers.
MTF Events Emphasises Industry-Led Approach
MTF Events said its team comprises members of the travel fraternity who remain directly involved with and accessible to the industry. The organisation believes this involvement gives it an understanding of the challenges faced by travel businesses and helps shape the event around the industry's needs. The stated objective for Mélange 2026 is to create an environment where members of the travel trade can meet more effectively, build stronger connections, generate business and support long-term growth.
Mélange 2026 will take place on September 26–27, 2026, at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
