ITB India 2026 Wraps Up in Mumbai, Records 4,800+ Business Meetings

ITB India 2026 concluded in Mumbai after three days of business meetings, networking and knowledge exchange, bringing together more than 100 exhibiting brands and 600 travel trade buyers from India and international markets. The fourth in-person edition was held at the Jio World Convention Centre from September 1 to 3, connecting the global travel industry with key players and business opportunities across India and South Asia.
During the three-day event, more than 4,800 one-to-one meetings were facilitated, allowing exhibitors and qualified buyers to discuss potential partnerships, business opportunities and emerging market trends. Participants represented diverse travel segments, including Leisure, MICE, Corporate Travel and Travel Technology.
International participation remained a major feature of the event, with exhibitors from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, Africa, Northeast Asia and South America. Among the participating brands and organisations were Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, IHCL, MakeMyTrip, oneworld alliance, Philippine Airlines, Sarawak Tourism Board, Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts, Tokyu Hotels Japan, Visit Maldives Corporation and Visit Northern Finland.
The 2026 edition also introduced new formats aimed at encouraging strategic industry discussions. The inaugural ITB India Leadership Roundtable, organised in partnership with global strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher, brought together senior representatives from tourism, hospitality, travel technology, investment, destinations and government. Discussions focused on India’s changing traveller segments, destination competitiveness, connectivity and the evolving ways in which travellers discover and plan trips.
The second edition of the Cruise Capsule also brought together cruise experts, travel trade professionals and MICE specialists to discuss developments and opportunities in India’s cruise tourism market, including the growing potential of cruise-based MICE experiences.
Running alongside the exhibition, the ITB India Conference featured 40 sessions and 80 speakers across the Knowledge & MICE Theatre and Tech & Experience Theatre. The programme covered four key areas—Knowledge, MICE & Corporate, Travel Technology and Experiential Travel—with discussions on hospitality, technology, corporate travel, MICE and changing traveller expectations.
With its 2026 edition now concluded, ITB India is set to return in September 2027, continuing its focus on connecting international travel businesses with India and the wider South Asian market.
