Disney Cruise Line is expanding the itinerary of its Disney Adventure with the addition of Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new port of call from December 31, 2026. The island will be included on select four-night cruises departing from and returning to Singapore, giving passengers the opportunity to combine time onboard with a day exploring one of Malaysia’s popular island destinations.

The first Langkawi sailing will depart Singapore on December 31, with the port visit scheduled for the third day of the cruise. The itinerary will continue to offer two days at sea, while the overall four-night cruise duration and Singapore departure and return schedule remain unchanged. During the Langkawi stop, guests can choose how they spend their day. They may explore the island independently or take part in optional Disney Cruise Line Port Adventures. Langkawi offers a mix of natural landscapes, cultural experiences, local attractions and outdoor activities. The destination is also home to Southeast Asia’s first UNESCO Global Geopark, adding a strong nature and heritage element to the cruise experience.

Passengers who prefer to remain onboard will also have access to dining, entertainment and other activities throughout the port day. Details of onboard programmes and operating hours will be provided through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

The addition marks a new development for Langkawi as it welcomes visitors arriving through a major international cruise brand. For Disney Cruise Line, the move adds a destination experience to selected Singapore sailings while maintaining the cruise’s existing four-night format. Guests will continue to have the option of booking four-night “Magical Days at Sea” itineraries without a port call, allowing travellers to choose between a cruise focused entirely on onboard experiences and one that includes a day in Langkawi.
