Wyndham’s EMEA Growth Puts India in the Spotlight

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts expanded its EMEA presence in the first half of 2026, signing 25 new hotels and opening 13 properties across the region. India emerged as one of its fastest-growing markets, with 11 new hotel signings across destinations such as Vrindavan, Jaipur and Khajuraho. The company now has more than 150 hotels operating and under development in India, with expansion increasingly moving beyond major cities into pilgrimage, regional and infrastructure-led destinations. Türkiye remained the leading market for new openings, while Wyndham also added properties across Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. The group currently operates more than 750 hotels with over 99,000 rooms across EMEA, reflecting rising demand for branded accommodation in emerging travel markets.
