TAWI LUSH has been appointed as the Sales and PR partner for Koncept Africa in India, marking a renewed focus on strengthening the luxury travel specialist’s presence in the Indian market. The partnership will focus on expanding trade engagement, building brand awareness and introducing Indian travellers to personalised African journeys.

Koncept Africa is a specialist African safari design and consultancy company with offices across the UK, USA, South Africa and India. Its expertise covers nine African destinations, including Zambia, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. Rather than focusing on conventional safari packages, the company specialises in tailor-made journeys that combine wildlife, conservation, culture, adventure and understated luxury.

The partnership comes as Indian luxury travellers increasingly look for personalised experiences and destinations beyond traditional holiday itineraries. Through its India mandate, TAWI LUSH will work closely with luxury travel advisors, trade partners and consumers to showcase the diverse experiences available across Africa.

Beyond the Traditional Safari

Koncept Africa aims to present Africa as more than a safari destination. Its portfolio includes private wilderness experiences, cultural encounters, adventure activities, road journeys, waterways and remote luxury stays.

Among its offerings is Africa’s Eden, a multi-destination journey covering Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Zambia, with experiences ranging from helicopter flights and river safaris to wildlife encounters. Its Namibia offering focuses on guided self-drive journeys through destinations including Etosha, Damaraland, Swakopmund and the Namib Desert.

The company also offers adventure-led experiences in South Africa, houseboat safaris across Southern Africa and highly personalised journeys through the Kalahari and Botswana.

Strengthening India's Luxury Travel Market

Jayesh Ashar, Group Managing Director, Koncept Africa, said India is becoming an increasingly important market for luxury African travel, with travellers showing greater interest in exclusivity, personalisation and experiences beyond conventional safari programmes.

Simmi Pai, Founder, TAWI LUSH, said the partnership reflects a shared belief that luxury travel is defined by the depth and individuality of an experience. She highlighted the opportunity to introduce Indian travellers to Africa’s lesser-explored destinations and its combination of adventure, conservation, culture and luxury.

Under the partnership, TAWI LUSH will lead sales representation, trade engagement, PR and brand positioning for Koncept Africa in India. The collaboration is expected to strengthen relationships with luxury travel advisors while creating greater awareness of bespoke African travel among Indian consumers. With this partnership, both companies aim to broaden the conversation around African tourism and encourage Indian travellers to explore the continent through journeys designed around their individual interests, preferences and pace.
