PATA Nepal Chapter Receives 2026 PATA Award of Excellence

The PATA Nepal Chapter has been honoured with the prestigious PATA Award of Excellence 2026, recognising its contribution to the growth and development of travel and tourism across the Pacific Asia region.

The award was presented by PATA Headquarters during the PATA Chapter and Student Chapter Awards Ceremony held in Kuching, Malaysia, ahead of PATA Travel Mart 2026. The recognition highlights the chapter’s continued efforts to support Nepal’s tourism sector while contributing to the wider objectives of the Pacific Asia Travel Association.

Recognition for Nepal’s Tourism Community

Immediate Past Chairman Bibhuti Chand Thakur accepted the award on behalf of PATA Nepal Chapter. He credited the chapter’s Executive Committee and Secretariat team for their collective contribution, noting that the achievement reflects the efforts of the wider team working to strengthen Nepal’s position within the regional tourism industry.
