British Airways Strengthens UK–India Ties with New Flights and Upgraded Services

British Airways has announced plans to enhance connectivity between the UK and India as part of the UK government’s ‘Britain Means Business’ trade mission led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The airline will launch a third daily flight between London Heathrow and Delhi in 2026, subject to approvals, and reintroduce its luxurious First cabin on Mumbai flights this month. By the end of 2026, the airline’s Club Suite will be available on select flights across all five Indian routes. With over a century of ties to India, British Airways aims to support growing trade under the new UK–India Free Trade Agreement, while continuing to improve passenger experience through new services and its £7 billion transformation plan.
