New Delhi, September 27, 2025 – The 5th edition of the World Tourism Day Celebration was held today at Radisson Blu Dwarka, bringing together tourism leaders, exhibitors, and industry professionals. The event opened with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by Chief Guest Mr. Subhash Goyal alongside dignitaries and organizers. With over 400 agents and 800 attendees, the celebration offered engaging sessions, award felicitations, and networking opportunities. More than 20 premium exhibitors showcased their offerings, gaining valuable exposure. The highlight of the evening was an energetic live performance by renowned singer Mr. Vishal, which created a vibrant and memorable finale. ETAA North India Chapter Celebrates Trade Success at Annual Networking Dinner
The Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) North India Chapter hosted its Annual Networking Dinner on 29 October 2025 at the Kylin Experience, Delhi. The gathering brought together travel-trade professionals to celebrate recent successes and strengthen industry connections. Speaking at the event, Chapter President Saurabh Tuteja emphasised that “the motive of this event is to celebrate the success of trade,” and revealed that ETAA will soon curate more industry-knowledge sessions, international familiarisation trips, and greater learning opportunities in the years ahead. Tourism Malaysia Showcases Sabah & Tourism Offerings at New Delhi Seminar
Tourism Malaysia, in partnership with the High Commission of Malaysia, New Delhi, hosted its Networking Seminar on September 22, 2025, at ITC Maurya. The event opened with a cultural performance celebrating Malaysia’s heritage, followed by presentations promoting Sabah in North Borneo—the world’s third-largest island—and the country’s diverse attractions. Ahmad Johanif Mohd Ali, Director of Tourism Malaysia (New Delhi), underlined India’s vital role in Malaysia’s tourism growth and announced a target of 3.5 million Indian visitors in 2025. The seminar concluded with a captivating cultural showcase reflecting Malaysia’s tribal spirit, leaving participants with a memorable experience.
FAST to Host Seminar on India’s Tourism Growth Roadmap
The Foundation for Aviation and Sustainable Tourism (FAST) will organize a seminar on “Current Domestic & Global Challenges and Roadmap for India’s Accelerated Tourism Growth” on September 26, 2025, at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Mumbai hosted the Skål International India National Congress 2025 from September 12–14 at Sahara Star Hotel, marking a historic milestone with over 200 delegates from India and abroad. The event featured prominent figures like Maneka Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor, while focusing on transparency, sustainability, and future growth. A highlight was the launch of the Skål International Indian Excellence Awards, honouring clubs and individuals for innovation, CSR, and global outreach. Discussions highlighted issues of procedures, obstacles, solutions, and environmental sensitivity. Eminent participants included Col. Regional Tourism Conclave in Gwalior to Boost Investment and Cultural Tourism
Gwalior is set to host the Regional Tourism Conclave on 29–30 August at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The event will see the presence of Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi.
Organised with the theme “Timeless Gwalior: Echoes of Culture, Spirit of Legacy”, the conclave aims to enhance tourism inflow and attract investments in the Gwalior–Chambal and Sagar divisions. Letters of Award (LoAs), MoUs, and agreements will be handed over to investors in hotels, resorts, wellness, and eco-tourism, generating employment and promoting sustainable tourism.
